How to add your email to your Gmail account
Step #1: Login
Login to your personal gmail account and click the ‘gear’ icon in the top right and select “Settings” in the dropdown menu that appears
Step #2: Settings
On the Settings page, click “Accounts and Import” then click “Add a POP3 mail account you own”
Step #3: Add email
Put in the address of the email you wish to link to your personal one. After entering the email, click Next.
Step #4: Add login info
Fill in the login information for the new email and check the box: ‘Label incoming messages as [email@example.com]'
Step #5: Send mail as..
Select "Yes, I want to be able to send mail as..." option and click "Next Step"
Step #6: Enter alias
In the following window, fill in your name and email and check "Treat as an alias"
Step #7: SMTP login info
After clicking “Next Step”, fill in your login information (the SMTP server should be something like smtp.youremailhost.com) and click “Add Account”
Step #8: Verification number
Log into your other email (i.e. the one you're adding to your personal email), you should have received a verification number from Gmail. Copy it and paste it into in the popup where it says "Enter and verify the confirmation code". After clicking "Verify", the email should be linked up to your gmail.
Step #9: Send an email from non-Gmail address within Gmail
To send an email from the address you added, click "Compose" and select the address from the "Compose" window dropdown
